Production Drawing Technician - University City, United States - Winco Window Company

Description

• Create production drawings for the manufacturing plant from project drawings or customer take-offs.
• Prepare manufacturing work order instructions and documents utilizing D'Calc and other company software as required. [will train].
• Prepare Purchase Orders to obtain needed materials.
• Written and verbal communications with inter-departmental contacts, sales representatives, and outside customers.
• Document all job-specific correspondence with both Internal and External Contacts.
• Other duties as directed by Management.

• Basic CADD skills; Knowledge of CADD beneficial to learning D'Calc.
• Computer literate in a windows-based environment (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of window & door construction is a plus.
• Technical math, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Experience with radius in a manufacturing environment
• Will provide training for company software.

• Associate's degree preferred or related work experience.

• This is a full-time position.
• Non-Exempt with no supervisory responsibility.
• Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8 hours per day.
