    Job Description Job Summary:
    Designs, implements and operations/maintains the site's or enterprise's server, storage, database, network, client, or communication infrastructure
    Work is performed under general direction
    Participates in determining objectives of assignment
    Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives
    Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
    Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization
    Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following

    Applicant must have experience with the application of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to operating systems and network devices
    2
    Use of Cisco IOS command line environment to implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
    3
    Hands-on network experience with Cisco switches and routers, copper and fiber-optic cabling and cable standards
    4
    Understanding of network administration tools, techniques, and methods
    5
    Fundamental knowledge in networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP)
    6 Active Directory Domain Administrator – Manage and maintain: Sites and Services, DNS, Group Policy Objects, Computer/User Objects, LDAP, Authentication protocols, AD Permission delegation using the least privilege methodology, Dynamic/Static AD groups, as well as other Domain services in accordance with MS best practices and compliance requirements

    • Experience with Current versions of Windows (e.g
    Server 2019, 2022, Windows 10, 11 Enterprise)

    Experience with PKI implementation/infrastructure 9.Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities
    Configure /add new services as necessary

    • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
    • Windows domain architecture experience 12.Experience with Palo Alto firewalls 13.Experience with Microsoft Server products 14.Experience with Cisco network devices 15.Experience with Microsoft Active Directory 16.Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication abilities

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    This job has no supervisory responsibilities but provides technical leadership and guidance to other Systems Administrators
    This includes, but is not limited to training employees, planning, assigning, directing work and resolving technically related work problems
    It also includes interaction with other technical teams and assisting in the management of vendor relationships

    Education and/or Experience:
    Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience

    Certifications:
    Current CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required.
    Cisco CCENT, CCNA or greater Cisco certification preferred but not required.
    Computer Skills Intermediate knowledge and in-depth experience with the following: Server/Storage:

    • Windows Server O/S
    • Server Infrastructure Technologies
    • AntiVirus software and strategies
    • Server troubleshooting and repair
    • Server backup strategies, methodologies, and solutions
    Client

    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • Desktop Operating Systems
    • Familiarity with desktop applications
    • End-Point Anti-Virus software and strategies
    Network Experience with Cisco switches, routers, IOS Software
    Network Management Systems

    • LAN/WAN links
    • Routing Protocols
    • Switching Technologies
    • TCP/IP protocol suite
    • Application protocols
    • Network Security
    • DNS Architecture
