    As a key partner for both Applebee's and Fuzzy's, support the Brand President on all financial matters serving as both a finance and business partner for various Brand functions.

    Take ownership of FP&A responsibilities and hold teams accountable to results.

    Ensure that both Finance and Brand leaders are continually informed about both backward-looking results and forward-looking projections throughout the year.

    Contribute to key decisions by making recommendations based on data including KPI.

    Drive process improvement and continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to improve profitability
    Financial analysis - two key areas of focus:
    Lead corporate FP&A functions - annual budgets, monthly forecasts, long-term strategic plan
    Develops and maintains varied budgets, financial, operating, marketing reports, and forecasts. Identifies forecast risks and opportunities
    Lead Franchisee financial health - restaurant economics, oversee P&L collection process, identify trends and evaluate impact of changes in unit economics


    Data analytics :
    Leverage point-of-sale data to reveal insights about the top line of business
    Monitor drivers of sales performance versus prior year, budget, and competitors
    Career maturity and leadership experience within an FP&A environment
    Strong verbal and written skills and the ability to present to stakeholders with varying levels and finance knowledge

    Modelling skills:
    performing financial analysis such as ROI, IRR, NPV, break-even, discounted cash flow.
    Collaborate with cross functional team members (FP&A, Accounting, Investor Relations, IT, Development, BA, and other brand-specific functions)
    Ability to manage and coach a team of finance/analytics professionals, from Director to Analyst
    Hands-on experience pulling/manipulating data warehouse reports and dashboards
    Hands-on software / technical skills:
    Excel & PowerPoint
    Office 365 apps
    Workday Adaptive (or similar)
    MicroStrategy (or similar)
    Salesforce
    Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably blending FP&A and data analytics
    Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Engineering, or a related field
    Working knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts
    MBA or similar advanced degree that enhances finance/analytics-specific knowledge
    Experience/familiarity with Franchising business model
