    CVOR Tech - Bismarck, ND

    Position: CVOR Tech


    Location: Bismarck, ND


    Shift: 8-hour day shifts , with on-call duty approximately 2-3 times per week and every 3rd weekend.


    On-call Hours:

    • Monday to Thursday:
    • Friday to Monday: for weekend duty)

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform duties as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician.
    • Assist in surgical procedures related to cardiovascular surgeries.
    • Maintain sterile field during procedures.
    • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instrumentation.
    • Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
    • Adhere to hospital protocols and regulations regarding surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
    • Participate in oncall rotation as scheduled.

    Experience/Required Skills:

    • Willingness to crosstrain into general Operating Room (OR) duties if CV volumes are low.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CVOR settings.
    • Proficiency in assisting with open heart surgeries, Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), and valve surgeries.
    • Ability to first scrub in surgical procedures.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
