Job description
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for timely processing of UnityPoint Health – Meriter wide payroll and related functions. Must maintain a working knowledge of Federal Wage and Hour and DWD rules and regulations, along with various union contracts and other company policies and procedures.The Payroll Specialist would be a hybrid position with the potential to consider fully remote work.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2-year Associates Degree or experience in lieu of education
- 1-2 years of Payroll experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Critical thinking skills, working in a team and meeting deadlines
