A rapidly growing Kansas City company is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to add to its team. Great work / life balance

Responsibilities will include:
Process high volume accounts payable
Process payments of vendors and review purchase orders
REceive and verify expense reports then reconcile the reports with account balances
Reconcile monthly statements and transactions
Calculate and report sales tax based paid invoices
Setup vendors in the system
Scan in documents for electronic filing
Sort, organize, and print data from Excel spreadsheets
Communicate with vendors on any discrepancies on invoices and verify they are accurate
Other duties as assigned by the Controller

Required skills and qualifications:
3+ years accounts payable experience
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple detail-oriented tasks
Strong Microsoft Excel experience
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to serve both internal and external customers
