Description
The Business Analyst will drive regular performance analysis of Global Pharma and Nutraceutical business and Global Beauty & Home business.
That includes leading Product Line profitability analysis (delivered to customer economics, global GP at plant level, competitive cost analysis) to drive decisions for Product Sourcing, Price Strategy, Price List development, and Product Placement.
These are critical analytical tools that will drive growth and improve profitability by optimizing customer mix globally.Business Performance & Analysis
Monitor monthly business (global, regional, product line, and plant level) performance including pro-forma product line and business profitability analysis, with insights on performance risks and opportunities at regional and global level
Monitor and analyze regional profitability, in conjunction and collaboration with regional teams, with a goal to providing insights in margin and share management
Integrate Regional views into a comprehensive Global view of business issues and competitive positioning
Build and present business performance and assist in Business Reviews with senior corporate management.
Work with regions and Business Director to analyze Product and Pricing strategies to maximize and optimize profitability across the product lines
Facilitate alignment between region and global FP&A on what constitutes Pharma and Beauty & Home businesses.
Product Line Management
Develop analytical tools for Delivered to Customer economics of strategic products from Plant to each Region to facilitate sourcing and pricing decisions.
Develop Global and Regional Price Lists in collaboration with Global and Region business leaders
Analyze product line profitability at global and regional levels to facilitate decision making on mix management
Develop a global market share database in SFDC and assist regional sales in setting targets and plans.
Track SFDC pipeline for P&N globally to hold Commercial Teams accountable
Set up a system to capture and analyze relevant trade data globally of key products to facilitate share management at country, region, global level.
Qualified Candidates Will HaveBS/BA in Finance, Economics, Accounting; MBA or CPA experience is a strong asset
Demonstrated experience in business and/or financial analysis, including modelling
Familiarity with business strategy concepts or competitive game theory is major plus
Minimum of 3-5+ years of business analysis that spans financial reporting, cost and profitability analysis, project cash flow analysis, competitor analysis, external benchmarking or market and customer analysis.
Experience with analysis and presentation to senior leaders or decision makers of an operating businessFinancial modelling including project cash flow analysis, margin analysis, scenario analysis, manufacturing optimization modelling.
Fluency in Excel and Powerpoint; SFDC familiarity is a plus
Ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Consultant, Financial Auditor, Financial Analyst, Business Controller, etc. will best suit the position
Experience in B2B enterprises in Specialty Chemicals or Process Industries serving consumer product companies – personal care, pharmaceutical, processed foods is a plus but not required
