Job Summary
This Operations Technician role functions as a member of an area team responsible for efficient production of quality products in required quantities. Key responsibilities include operating/changing over specified machinery, ensuring safety efficiency operational conformance product quality continuous improvement training/performing tasks other associates area needed practicing Lock-Out Tag-Out program maintenance/repair maintaining accurate records QC checks production numbers waste performance performing analysis fat moisture protein product density size shape color formulated amount fat acid dry coating finished product bins cleaned between runs keeping all equipment safe operating condition practicing safety procedures wearing proper personal protective equipment hair net bump cap ear plugs safety shoes uniform bending stooping twist turn standing extended time periods reaching climbing stairs lifting up 55 lbs adapting temperature environmental extremes hot cold dust dirt chemicals knowledge local federal industry regulations food safety GMP HACCP food quality Product Process Q&FS testing practices procedures QMP policies SPC- Properly extrude mix formulas fulfill duties absence either operator.
