WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A SALES OFFICER

As a Sales Officer at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, you will play a pivotal role in exceeding sales expectations while upholding our operational policies. This position is all about accountability, as you will develop and deepen member relationships by providing high-quality consultative services. You'll expertly identify member needs, aligning them with value-added SkyOne products and services. Your responsibilities will include processing transactions, updating accounts, opening new accounts, and handling loan applications, all while ensuring you meet the Credit Union's service standards. Consistently adhering to policies and procedures, you will strive to achieve individual and team performance and sales goals.

In addition, you will support business development through proactive outbound sales and service calls, while also providing frontline coverage at our branches and call center, ensuring our members receive the best possible service.

WOULD YOU BE A GREAT SALES OFFICER?

To thrive as a Sales Officer at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, several essential skills and competencies are necessary. First and foremost, you must demonstrate punctuality and professionalism in handling outbound calls, adhering to established standards for member relations. A strong understanding of the credit union's financial goals and strategic direction will enable you to proactively support a service-oriented sales culture. Effective communication is critical, as you will assess members' financial needs through pertinent questioning and tailor solutions accordingly.

You should possess advanced knowledge of the credit union's products and services, applying these insights to enhance member experiences. The ability to consistently achieve sales targets and service performance standards is vital, alongside proficiency in processing transactions accurately in line with policy guidelines. Additionally, mentoring new hires and continuously updating procedures will be expected, alongside compliance with all regulations and maintaining a safe work environment. Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to deliver exceptional service while driving credit union initiatives forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial services call center.
• Must be able to work onsite from the Lewisville location 5 days a week, and attend Credit Union sponsored community events based on business needs.
• Strong cross-selling and telemarketing skills.
• Excellent member service and telephone communication skills.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of financial products and services.
• Windows, Word, Excel, and Internet proficiency.
• A high degree of confidentiality.
• A positive, professional image within the workplace.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
