    Position Overview


    The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning and procurement of prototype materials, production materials and related services. Key areas of accountability include hands-on participation in department activities, planning, budgeting, purchasing, scheduling, training, supplier selection, supplier management, best practices, quality, and continuous improvement of responsible areas.

    As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our product lifecycle and supply chain processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to drive continuous improvement and optimize our operations. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    What You'll Do:

    • Ensure the uninterrupted supply chain operation of existing products throughout their lifecycle.
    • Oversee the implementation and approval of Document Change Orders (DCOs) to support product updates and improvements.
    • Track and manage changes to product specifications and revisions, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Implement processes to track and manage changes to product revisions, ensuring timely approval and implementation.
    • Manage the approval process for molds and tools used in manufacturing, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, monitoring their performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Monitor and analyze the cost of parts and components, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing procurement strategies.
    • Lead and participate in improvement projects or tasks related to operations, and supply chain
    • Collaborate with headquarters on Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities, reviewing and tracking their impact on operations.
    • Lead the qualification process for new vendors, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
    • Generate purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) as needed to support procurement activities.
    • Monitor and track capital expenditures related to operations and supply chain initiatives, ensuring alignment with budget and strategic priorities.
    • Liaise with the China team on inventory management activities, optimizing inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
    • Manage the vendor payment process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
    • Lead supply chain improvement projects in collaboration with the China team, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
    • Contribute to the supplier sourcing (quote) process, offering insights and analytics to inform decision-making, optimize supply chain efficacy, and flag any potential risks
    • Utilize internal ERP system to streamline purchase order processing and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient order placement and invoice reconciliation.

    What You'll Need to Have:

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain development, contract manufacturing, vendor management, or broad operations with knowledge of mechanical engineering, product development and manufacturing processes
    • 3+ years of experience in medical device product development and manufacturing environment.
    • Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, project management and networking skills are required.
    • Outstanding analytical capabilities and strong negotiation skills
    • Ability to toggle between strategic and detail orientated thinking
    • Tenacious problem solving & issue resolution skills
    • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to influence across multiple functional teams
    • Ability to communicate with both English and Mandarin
