- Oversee all aspects of the sushi production shift
- Lead, coach, train, and discipline employees
- Create work schedule
- Maintain clean kitchen workstations, equipment, tools, and utensils
- Ensure food quality and efficient production flow
- Roll, cut, and package sushi and related products in compliance with Origami standards
- Stock food items and organize inventory
- Adhere to company, state, and local food safety regulations
- Foster a positive, friendly work environment
- 3+ years sushi and/or high-volume food production experience
- 1+ years in a leadership position
- English/Spanish bilingual preferred
- Food handling and general food safety knowledge
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and thrive in fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and general computer skills
- Can lift 40 pounds frequently and stand for 8 hours
