    Position – Sushi Roller Manager

    Origami Catering makes grab & go sushi for local grocery markets, schools, and hospitals. We are looking for a Production Manager to help lead the night team at our central kitchen.

    Job Description:
    Oversee sushi production team and operations.


    Reports to:
    Director of Operations


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of the sushi production shift
    • Lead, coach, train, and discipline employees
    • Create work schedule
    • Maintain clean kitchen workstations, equipment, tools, and utensils
    • Ensure food quality and efficient production flow
    • Roll, cut, and package sushi and related products in compliance with Origami standards
    • Stock food items and organize inventory
    • Adhere to company, state, and local food safety regulations
    • Foster a positive, friendly work environment

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years sushi and/or high-volume food production experience
    • 1+ years in a leadership position
    • English/Spanish bilingual preferred
    • Food handling and general food safety knowledge
    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to learn and thrive in fast paced environment
    • Working knowledge of MS Excel and general computer skills
    • Can lift 40 pounds frequently and stand for 8 hours
    Work Hours: 4pm-1am; 4-5 days per week; 35-45 hours/week
