Are you a Licensed Audiologist looking to take on an assessment role?
Would you find it fulfilling to serve the Veteran community?
Are you intrigued by some travel opportunities across Northern California?
We are in search of an Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Before meeting with you, the Veteran submits their claim. Their medical records are uploaded to a computer portal for you to review during the appointment. You will perform a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. Additionally, you will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal, which serves as the medical evidence for the VA to determine the veteran's benefits.
The Audiologist will not be involved in prescribing medical treatments or devices.
This role involves reviewing and evaluating an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week
This is an IN-PERSON opportunity that provides: 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. No late evenings, on-call duties, weekends, or involvement in hearing aid sales.
