    What You'll Do

    The industry is changing. Marketers demand more than traditional reports, data is now integral to strategy. This requires a new type of analyst, one that combines systematic thinking with strategic vision. Horizon Analytics is pioneering the field by introducing a client-centric group, tasked with development and integration of insights.

    The VP Director, Analytics - Strategy, Insights Integration, will help champion this agency initiative to streamline cross-channel analytics and insights offerings. The role will build client-specific solutions that inform campaign performance and drive institutional knowledge. The ideal candidate will be able to go toe to toe with the client's analytics team, as well as senior leadership potentially including the CMO. This candidate will need to have a thorough understanding of digital and linear/traditional metrics; both from a brand and direct response perspective as well as a track record of successfully building analytic approaches across a broad mix of clients. A strong business acumen and superior client service skills are a must. Additionally, the VP is charged with the responsibility of leading and mentoring a team. Fostering talent is central to the evolution of this department and the VP is expected to help teams reach their greatest potential.     Job Summary

    • 5%- Help build the team to develop clear and concise dashboarding that will deliver information in an intelligent and digestible manner.
    • 5%- Work closely across the media planning and brand strategy teams to develop KPIs and reporting methodologies / approaches that match back to campaign and brand goals and to communicate that based on client needs.
    • 5%- Must be able to peel through the layers of reported data, disregarding the unnecessary, and deliver analysis and insight in a constructive and concise manner both internal and external client constituents.
    • 85%- Must be able to manage client expectations successfully throughout multiple engagement

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Manage and mentor the Analytics team ensuring that Horizon Media delivers high quality work to its clients and fosters a culture of curiosity and continuous learning.

    Who You Are

    • Key Behavioral Competencies:
      • Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications.
      • Thought leadership on all aspects of digital advertising, digital media strategy and standard media measurement
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey and package technical findings in layman's terms
    • Prior experience building teams and managing, training and mentoring junior staff on all aspects of digital analytics / measurements and recommendations
    • Expert knowledge of Google Campaign Manager, Innovid, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc
    • Exposure to mobile, social, tablet measurement approaches as well as understanding of role of multi-touch attribution in media evaluation
    • Proven track record identifying on-going opportunities to productize revenue generating analytic solutions and sell into internal and external clients
    • Experience building customized multi-channel attribution models either internally built or leveraging leading platforms (VisualIQ, Neustar, C3, Analytics Partners, IRI, etc)
    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
    • Experience managing and coordinating efforts across various teams/offices
    • Deep Sr. Level Relationships with qualitative digital metric companies preferred (Kantar Millward Brown, Dynata, Upwave, DISQO, Nielsen, Lucid, etc)
    • 10-15 years relevant experience
    • Bachelor's degree required: Computer Science, Mathematics, Analytics or related field
    • Master's degree preferred (in business administration, marketing, computer science or analytics)

    Salary Range

    $200, $240,000.00

    A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
