This role will support the Finance Manager in the month-end close process and ad hoc analytic projects as needed for various Field and cafe sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform complex reconciliation and analysis for several balance sheet accounts.Track and maintain P/L and balance sheet activity.
Prepare month-end journal entries and analyses.
Manage and review large quantities of data in the general ledger and balance sheet.
Resolving various accounting/reconciliation issuesAssist with Vendor setup and resolving payment issues.
Assist in SOP and accounting policies and procedures documentation for all processes.
Perform audit procedures ICR to verify that controls are operating effectively.through appropriate testing procedures, as well as to identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Assist with ad hoc projects and budgeting as needed.Identify and implement process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
Supervision of Staff and Senior accountant work QUALIFICATIONSA BS/BA degree required in Accounting (CPA a plus)A minimum of 5 years of experience as a general ledger accountant and 2 in a supervisory roleExperience with POS, cash, and credit card reportsSupervising / Managing associate(s) for a minimum of 2 years.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in ExcelAbility to dissect complex transactions to achieve the end goal of correcting entries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong technical accounting skillsAbility to dissect complex transactions to achieve the end goal of correcting entry errors.
