    About the Role:

    The Inside Sales Engineer position is a unique opportunity that combines technical expertise with inside sales responsibilities. Working through our sales representatives, you'll act as a vital link between them and our vendors. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in streamlining the sales process and ensuring exceptional service delivery. From handling inquiries and assembling quotes to facilitating communication with vendors, this role demands a keen eye for detail and a strong technical background. Moreover, we are specifically seeking an outside-of-the-box critical thinker who can innovate solutions to complex challenges.

    Inside Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

    • Gather and analyze customer requirements, working closely with the outside sales team to understand project needs.
    • Prepare and present accurate quotes, collaborating with vendors to ensure timely and competitive pricing.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries through sales representatives, providing technical expertise and exceptional customer service.
    • Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and ensure the accuracy of all documentation.
    • Handle additional tasks as needed, including processing drawings and providing support across various departments.

    Inside Sales Engineer Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred, but equivalent technical experience to be considered in lieu of engineering degree.
    • Demonstrated technical aptitude with a firm understanding of engineering principles.
    • 3+ years experience in inside sales or a technical support role is required.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (experience with Zoho is a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
