The Estimator - Substation prepares cost estimates for renewable energy substations,
this role is responsible for creating accurate cost-competitive timely preparation
of estimates incorporating knowledge construction means methods costs industry principles Project scope responsibilities include procurement installation temporary facilities project field management structural steel HV bus fittings PTs CTs arrestors circuit breakers switches concrete foundations auxiliary AC equipment power wiring cable conveyance systems static masts grounding system SCADA communication cabling fencing pull boxes transformers control buildings engineering services testing taxes contingency warranties margin For local candidates this role will require 3 days office 2 days working home

Responsibilities

• Handles multiple moderately complex project estimate assignments concurrently
• Performs work under general supervision
• Collaborates with personnel other RES departments solicit respective cost input into project estimates li>Performs quantity take-offs Request Proposal documents builds complete estimates Senior Lead Estimator oversight li>Understands builds productivity metrics related activities within estimate li>Requests receives assesses cost-effectiveness vendor quotes materials equipment services li>Collaborates discipline estimators costs related respective scopes
