The Friendship SchoolLEARN has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic
Intervention Specialist at The Friendship School, a LEARN magnet school located in Waterford, CT.

This paraprofessional position within our preschool autism classrooms supports the educational and behavioral development of students with special needs, working with a dynamic team to provide instructional support, student monitoring and data collection.

Training in Safety Care techniques will be provided.


Qualifications:

Level 1:

Minimum Education Requirement:
High School Diploma and hold Parapro certification. Experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred. Experience in ABA programs preferred.

Level 2: Minimum of a Associates Degree or two years of college (equaling 60 credits or more) or hold current Registered Behavior Tech and Parapro certifications. Experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred.
