- Assist Opticians with providing excellent professional patient care.
- Assist patients in selection and fit of eyewear.
- Assist Opticians with receiving eyewear from labs, notifying patients of their eyewear being ready, and maintenance of the patient's Compulink file to ensure compliance regarding dispensing.
- Answer phones, assisting patients who call with their needs.
- Source insurance coverage for patients, verify eligibility, interpret benefits, and bill materials in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Contact Lens ordering to include but not limited to pricing, explanation of their benefits, ordering materials, billing insurance, receiving orders, and dispensing orders.
- Create Patient Demographics in Compulink when needed, scan necessary documents.
- Collaborate with Opticians on prioritizing tasks for best patient experience.
- Communicate with Practice Partners as needed for best patient experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized dispensary at all times, free of clutter. Keep frame boards and work area neat and organized.
- Complete requested tasks effectively and in a timely manner, meeting deadlines and expectations.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned by the District Manager.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of previous experience in the optical industry.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
