    Hospitalist Physician Job Summary:

    We are seeking a hospitalist physician for an opportunity in the Tampa Bay area with a flexible schedule that includes no call and no nights. This position offers clinical responsibilities to include seeing all ages, managing wellness and chronic care disease, as well as specialized procedures based on the candidate's interest.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Active Florida state medical license
    • Inpatient experience preferred
    • Comfortable with EMR, DEA, and BLS/ACLS
    • Patient-focused, friendly, and willing to collaborate in a team environment

    Job Description: A hospitalist physician will work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be comfortable with electronic medical records and relevant certifications.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Provide primary care to patients of all ages, including those with acute and chronic conditions
    2. Manage wellness and disease prevention programs
    3. Collaborate with specialists to provide comprehensive care
    4. Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices
    5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

    Requirements:

    • Medical degree from an accredited institution
    • Active Florida state medical license
    • Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine
    • 2+ years of inpatient experience
    • EMR proficiency and relevant certifications
