As an Assurance Staff Associate with Wiss, LLP, you will have the opportunity to build your career with personable and highly motivated individuals that will teach you how to work with various teams.
Your problem solving, analytical and organizational skills will be put to work as you help to provide top notch consultative services to well established organizations within the NJ/NY metropolitan area.

Perform accounting procedures and client audits in accordance with firm standards.
Acquire a working knowledge of the client's business and accounting systems.
Proactively interact with clients and staff to gather information and resolve problems.
Prepare documentation for both internal/client review that can be easily understood.
Prepare individual, partnership and corporate tax returns during tax season as needed.
What we are looking for:
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field
Internship experience in the public accounting industry is preferred.
Candidates must have a general understanding of Microsoft Office programs and any working knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
Candidates must be detail oriented and interested in pursuing a career in public accounting.
We are looking for highly motivated team players who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, in addition to exhibiting effective problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
