    Sales – Territory Manager

    Purpose:

    Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the territory sales goals. Builds sustainable relationships with key professional decision makers and opinion leaders. Works with business establishments or individuals at customer's place of business, CE programs, and trade shows by performing the following duties.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Increase existing customer sales in an established geographic sales territory.

    · Develop new business by locating opportunities and generating leads.

    · Achieve monthly sales goals laid out by the sales management team.

    · Plan and schedule daily/monthly customer visits/prospect calls.

    · Travel will be required.

    · Meet training requirements including proficiency with professional selling skills, product knowledge, competitive product knowledge and territory management and time management. Ability to train customers on product and Waterstone's philosophy in selling high-end product.

    · Integrates well in the design, architectural, and contractor communities, organizations, and social media platforms.

    Education and Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university is preferred, or a minimum of 5 years related selling experience, or plumbing industry related employment. Related experience and or training in the plumbing or showroom field are a plus.

    Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

    Faucetry sales background preferred but not required; must be articulate and able to effectively communicate with distributors, business leaders, etc. Must be able to self-initiate and manage themselves and their sales contacts to effectively produce sales for the company. Must be effective with cold calling.

    Planning a logical sequence of events or tasks:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills. Revising plans to account for changed circumstances. Setting priorities for utilizing resources. Planning short/long term (task-strategies) objectives. Anticipating problems.

    Equipment/Software Use:

    Competent in Microsoft programs including all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Sales Force).
