    Job Description Summary
    Plan and schedule Facilities Labor & Materials for Maintenance, Projects, and Shops Organizations.

    Coordinate and expedite the assignment and re-assignment of Labor based on the Priority of Facilities Schedule and any emergent needs.

    Collect internal estimates and develop quotations when required.

    The role is aligned to allow the Facilities Team to maximize all resources by driving fast paced change with frequent learning and iterations in order to develop labor planning and master production scheduling standards.

    High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

    Role and Responsibilities

    Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, project, or component development resources.

    Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
    May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
    Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update schedules and purchasing needs. Create, manage and/or update schedules including training schedule, overtime schedule, employee assigned schedule list and vacation calendar. Ensure operational alignment with overall plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
    In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
    Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

    Occasional Management of hourly teams with focus on helping facilitate problem solving, teamwork and execution of daily goals to drive the business forward.

    Support Facilities, EHS, and Security Teams with variety of Office tasks

    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years materials, planning, sourcing or manufacturing/assembly experience) + minimum of 3 years materials, planning, sourcing manufacturing/assembly experience
    US Citizenship is required.
    Must be willing to work out of an office located in either Niskayuna, NY

    The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $91,000 USD annually.

    The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
