    About Affini-T Therapeutics
    Affini-T Therapeutics is an emerging biotechnology company focused on targeting oncogenic driver mutations with a "best-in-class" TCR therapy platform.

    Our innovative method of discovering high affinity TCRs specific to oncogenic driver mutations is used to develop therapies against malignant diseases.

    Through the application of gene editing and synthetic biology, we aim to enhance T-cell fitness to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, with the ultimate goal of inducing long-term responses in patients with solid tumors.

    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Head of IT, the IT Support Specialist will have ownership of IT service delivery for our Watertown users and sites.

    You will be the first point of contact for our end users for all IT ticket requests and will own their cases through resolution.

    You will be the primary IT lead responsible for IT on-boarding and off-boarding process to ensure all new hires have configured and managed laptop and correct user access; as well as ensure all hardware is received and all access is dispositioned for exiting employees.

    Your input and feedback to enhance our IT processes is strongly encouraged. Always thinking about how to make the IT department more efficient, effective, and improve end-user experience is highly received. The expected duration of this internship is three months.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    The major tasks for this position are as follows:

    Hardware and Software Support:
    Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for employees.

    User Support:
    Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, including password resets, software installations, and system configurations.

    Network Administration:
    Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of our network infrastructure, ensuring its stability and security.

    Documentation:
    Create and update IT documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.

    Asset Management:
    Help with asset tracking and inventory management of IT equipment.

    Software Updates:
    Assist in the deployment of software updates and patches.

    Security:
    Learn and adhere to IT security best practices and assist in implementing security measures.

    Collaboration:
    Collaborate with IT team members on special projects, such as system upgrades and migrations.
    Required Qualifications


    Education and Experience:
    Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    Strong interest in IT and a desire to learn and develop technical skills.
    Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
    Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Eagerness to take on new challenges and learn quickly.
    Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
