    Summary:

    The Workforce Community Development Specialist is responsible for the implementation of the marketing and community outreach within Talent Acquisition, workforce planning and development and community partnerships for Catholic Health. The specialist will work closely with Catholic Health leadership to identify and address the gaps existing between competencies the workforce currently possesses and future competency requirements. The specialist will look for areas of opportunity for growth, recommend solutions, and develop programs for our current workforce and future workforce. The specialist will partner and build relationships with outside organizations within the community as well as work with local high schools and colleges to develop partnerships and a talent pipeline. The Workforce Community Development Specialist will be the point of contact in the community attending, coordinating, and initiating community and professional educational opportunities for Catholic Health to grow external and internal talent. The specialist will monitor, evaluate, and revise programs and relationships as needed based on the success of a program.

    Responsibilities:

    EDUCATION

    + Bachelors Degree is required

    EXPERIENCE

    + Three (3) years of HR, Talent Acquisition or workforce development

    + Experience with data collection, outcome evaluation and reporting methodology

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) software applications & Outlook

    + Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills

    + Ability to organize/prioritize multiple responsibilities

    + Ability to work with little or no supervision

    + Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines with patience and flexibility

    + Good judgment and diplomacy in being able to relate to all organizational levels

    + Ability to independently prepare reports and correspondence

    + Demonstrated customer service related competencies
