    **SUMMARY** The Olde Bar is looking for Line Cooks

    Prepares food to order according to our recipes, procedures, quality expectations and speed of service. Food items are prepared for guests according to our standards of quality, consistency and time lines. In doing so all cleanliness, sanitation and safety standards are maintained, and we will continue to create new business and avoid guest complaints.

    **RESPONSIBILITIES**

    Assist the CDC with ensuring that all kitchen staff members prepare and handle food safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines

    Assist the CDC with managing the safety, sanitation, and cleanliness practices of all BOH operations in the restaurant

    Prepare all food items according to recipe cards and correct handling procedures. Maintain highest quality and appearance of all foods sent from kitchen and make sure plates are clean and appetizing

    Maintain proper pars of production levels according to estimates on the production sheets; maintain top quality freshness

    Maintains stock (restocks) cleans & organizes work area

    Practices proper & safe food handling, storage, receiving, stocking & rotating procedures

    Ability to Stand or walk during an entire 8-10 hour shift

    Other duties and projects as assigned by the CDC

    Qualifications

    Minimum two years working in a fast-paced, professional kitchen

    Culinary degree or documented culinary training preferred

    Ability to communicate effectively

    Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move items up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move items up to 50 pounds
