- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Present evaluation results and propose IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at IEP meetings
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

Description
Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.Soliant is collaborating with a year-round school in Washington D.C., and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist who can start ASAP, and stay on assignment for at least 1 year.
The school heads a specialized program for children to young adults who need extensive accommodations due to ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). As such, we seek Speech Pathologists with expertise in this area.
Additional information about the school will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
