- Functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room
- Positions and drapes the patient under the direction of the surgeon
- Suturing and retracting of all tissue layers
- Demonstrates good knowledge of anatomy
- Assists in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
- Current Florida State Licensure
- Board certified by NCCPA required
- Current BLS required / ACLS is a plus
- Greater than 2 years, highly skilled multiple specialties in the area of First Assisting

AP Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. A successful candidate is experiencedin general surgery, robotics, and neurosurgery.
