    Basic Duties

    • Assemblepower generators, parts and enclosures using hand and power tools.
    • Read and interpret blueprints and drawingsto make sure everything's built to standard.
    • Do some basic wiringand handle materials safely.
    • Clean, inspect, and prepunits before they go out the door.
    • Pitch in where needed— whether it's in the shop or the warehouse.
    • Work safely, stay productive, and help keep the team moving forward.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience using tools — wrenches, drills, grinders, and more.
    • Able to read and follow engineering drawings (or willing to learn).
    • Dependable, teachable, and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
    • Strong team player who shows up ready to work every day.
    • Bring your own basic tools.
    • Able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders or stairs regularly.

    Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

    This position works in a shop environment with some outside exposure. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75lbs. The wearing of approved safety equipment ( i.e. safety glasses with side shields and steel toe footwear) is required. Noise level is usually moderate to high. May intermittently sit at a desk to answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
