    Job Title: Real Estate Attorney

    Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our centralized Legal Department in Denver. Our team provides advice to Richmond's divisions throughout the country on real estate transactions, contracting issues, due diligence matters, development issues, title, and customer concerns.

    Responsibilities:

    This position involves reviewing, negotiating, and drafting real estate contracts and related agreements for land acquisition, including raw land, partially developed land, and finished platted lots. You will also conduct due diligence and close land acquisitions, working with paralegals and title companies to prepare and review closing documents and title work.

    Your duties may include analyzing title issues, bonding, and development matters, community facilities districts, homeowner associations, and water availability. Additionally, you will interact with management to discuss and manage risks associated with real estate purchases and development.

    Requirements:

    5+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer with an emphasis on real estate. Some homebuilding experience is preferred.

    Education and Licensing:

    J.D. or LLM from an accredited law school. Admission to practice in the State of Colorado or another state with single client admission in Colorado. Active and good-standing attorney license.
