    **FUNCTION**

    The Bartender is responsible for providing the patrons with excellent service in a timely manner, assist the beverage servers with orders to assure quality guest service, and provide patrons with a favorable gaming experience.

    **SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

    Prepares drinks correctly at the bar for patrons and for cocktail staff.

    Assisting with the cleaning of the bar area and assisting with inventory maintenance.

    Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.

    Responsible to perform responsible alcohol service with regards to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.

    Other duties as assigned.

    **STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE**

    Knowledge of all bar equipment, cash registers, and berg beverage system.

    Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.

    Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.

    Oral and written communication skills.

    Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure demands.

    **EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE**

    A high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience is preferred.

    Bartending experience; experience in a casino setting is a plus.

    Valid gaming license or ability to obtain gaming license.
