About the Role

Join a team of dedicated professionals at a nationally recognized hospital in downtown Asheville, North Carolina.

We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses (ED RNs /
ER RNs) for a 13-week travel nurse assignment at a flagship facility known for clinical excellence, patient safety, and strong nursing standards.

This is a fast-paced emergency nursing job where you will perform triage, critical assessments, and life-saving interventions while enjoying all that vibrant Asheville has to offer.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — North Carolina or compact state accepted

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department nursing experience (ED RN)

BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred

Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy abilities

Experience with electronic documentation (EMR) preferred

Responsibilities (Emergency Department RN)

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a busy Emergency Department

Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care for incoming emergency patients

Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as ordered

Respond to codes and emergencies; provide life-saving interventions when needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, techs, respiratory therapists) to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document patient care accurately and promptly in the medical record
