    Bartow Regional Medical Center – 2200 Osprey Blvd, Bartow, FL


    Status:
    Full Time

    Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
    Every other weekend requirement

    ~ 2 years experience in the emergency department
    ~ BSN or BS Healthcare related field or an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion. Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
    Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
    Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others

    Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.

    Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition
    Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
    High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
