    Description

    Are you a Licensed Audiologist seeking an assessment role?

    Are you interested in serving the Veteran community in a rewarding way?

    We are in need of an Audiologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    • The Veteran submits the claim before meeting you.
    • All their medical records are uploaded to a computer portal for your review during the appointment.
    • You will perform a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
    • Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) on the computer portal.
    • You will help provide the medical evidence for the VA to determine the veteran's benefits.

    The Audiologist will not offer any medical treatments or devices.

    This role involves reviewing and assessing an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.

    Schedule: 2/3 days per week

    This is an IN-PERSON position with each patient appointment lasting between 1 to 1.5 hours. No evenings, on-call duties, weekends, or involvement in hearing aid sales.

    Requirements

    • Must have an Au.D from an ASHA Accredited school
    • Current license as an Audiologist

    Benefits

    • Daily rate ranges from $400 to $550. Higher rates offered for candidates willing to travel within California.
