    Description


    We are seeking Underground Wet Utility Pipe Layers to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our construction projects.


    ResponsibilitiesMust have experience laying large diameter pipe:
    water/sewer and storm drain.
    Install sanitary sewer, storm water and consumable water structures and pipe systems.
    Layout pipe routes, following specifications or blueprints and coordinating layouts with the supervisor and crew members.

    Perform manual labor such as shovel/broom work, hand digging, trenching, pulling and removing material, job site clean-up and various tasks associated with utility construction.

    Cut pipes to required lengthsAssist crew in placement of pipe/conduit, also in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.

    Align and position pipes to prepare then for welding or sealingMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipmentCollaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project successDrive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practicesOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent5 years Experience in construction or related industry preferredStrong work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditionsBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to follow directions and work independently or as part of a teamEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
