QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing required.
Current, unencumbered North Carolina RN licensure with at least 2 years of work experience (4000 hours) as a registered nurse.
The applicant meets at least one of the following:a) completion of a course in teaching adults; b) experience in teaching adults; or c) experience in supervising nurse aides.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret required course content and technical skills as required for the NC Department of Health and Human Services curriculum instruction.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, or feel and talk or hear.
