The Logistics Compliance Analyst is a subject matter expert and key contact for enforcing logistic compliance requirements and managing exceptions for supply chain at all Distribution Centers (DCs), cross-docks, plant shipping floors.
Fulfils supply chain services to Pelican customers and plays a key role in managing those relationships by working closely with logistics leadership.
This role will work closely with the International Logistics Manager, DC Manager and Logistics manager to control logistic center inventories and fulfill supply chain services to Pelican customers and play a key role in managing those relationships.
Create, communicate, and implement compliance requirement documentation related to loading, consolidation, labeling, outbound shipments, to align with Pelican customer needs.
Analyze and assess each step in the supply chain process including product flow from material acquisition to final delivery. Identify and promote opportunities for continuous improvement.Collaborate, evaluate, and revise logistics policies, procedures.
Research supply chain issues to identify potential problems and preemptively address them.
Investigate, analyze, and understand root causes of claims and retail compliance chargebacks.
Enforce logistics compliance requirements at all DC's, cross-docks, plant shipping floors.
Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and report progress in terms of percent complaints.
Participates in the development reports related to DC and transportation compliance.
Identify and propose cost effective and efficient solutions to resolve compliance exceptions.
Define, develop, and track "Customer Success Factors" related to compliance.
Participate in the successful onboarding of new customers into the Pelican distribution network.
Participate in the development of service level requirements for distribution service providers, 3PL's related to compliance.
Performs additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Operations Management, or related field
Three years (3) of logistics analytics experience
Two (2) years of experience working in an ERP
Intermediate skilled level in data mining and analysis
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Expert level skills in MS Excel
Advanced organizational skills in both planning and execution, managing multiple tasks with accuracy, and meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) years of logistics analytics experience
One (1) year of experience with Warehouse Management System / Transportation Management System (WMS / TMS)
Experience in LEAN manufacturing

Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.
Must be flexible regarding working hours. Must be able to work evenings and weekends, with or without advance notice.
Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be able to travel nationally as necessary.
The approximate base compensation range is shown below. The actual offer may vary based on skills, experience and location.
