Our partnering facility is seeking a qualified Quality and Infection Prevention Specialist - Dialysis (DIA) - Full Time to join their clinical team.
The QIPM has a span of control activities with the primary goal of focusing on reducing the risk of nosocomial infections and assuring that high-quality care is being delivered based on established regulatory policies.
Performing continued collection, review, and analysis of nosocomial infection data; conducting benchmarking analysis of nosocomial infection data, prevention procedures, policies, and initiatives with national and international standards and best practices; identify quality improvement opportunities, providing recommendations to clinical areas, and facilitate implementation of best practices across the hospital; provide staff with relevant and current infection prevention and quality education for departments.

MS Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, MPH in Epidemiology or related field (Highly Preferred)
Infection Prevention (CIC) or Quality Certification (CPHQ) within 2 years of hire required.

At least 1 year of recent Dialysis Experience preferred
