    TRISTAR is seeking a Data Analyst/Engineer for our government customer in Crane, IN


    Position Description:
    The Data Analyst/ Engineer Research and Development Support
    Trade Studies, Analyses, Technical Evaluations and Assessments.
    Demonstration Support.
    System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support.
    Software Engineering, Development, Programming and Network Support.
    Information Systems (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology (IT) Support.


    Position Responsibilities:
    Provide data management related support. Provide support for information technology and services including programming support, web publishing, interactive software, systems administration, and other tasks
    Conduct an analysis of SPEIR track fusion algorithms that combine information attained from motion imagery tracks and radar tracks to ensure appropriate data analysis techniques are utilized during the fusion process
    Assist with analysis of video tracker algorithms utilized for maintaining tracking on video imagery of objects covered by the SPEIR mission set
    Work with the SPEIR Software Working Group and Hardware Working Group in order to conduct an analysis of the system hardware to ensure that enough CPUs, GPUs and RAM are being utilized and enough network bandwidth is available to perform the SPEIR mission
    Review the Artificial intelligence / Machine learning techniques utilized by L3Harris's target recognition software and provide feedback to the government about advantages and disadvantages associated with the chosen method


    Position Requirements:
    Minimum of 1yr experience with optimizing data intensive computing method selection utilized for data mining
    This type of data analysis is going to require an extensive mathematical background
    Anyone able to perform this work will have some type of Bachelor of Science degree
    Experience developing parallel algorithms and domain decomposition techniques suitable for simulation on High Performance Distributed Computing systems
    Experience with configuration management tools such as JIRA, and Confluence
    Experience with automated tools for the design of source code and debugging of multi-threaded programs
    Experience with computational load balancing methods and domain decomposition techniques
    Technical education/experience that enables the candidate to interpret and apply technical documentation such as software design, programming commenting, and pseudocode, and technical manuals preferred
    Ability to communicate orally and in writing
    Must be a US Citizen
    An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one


    Education and Certification:
    Bachelor's level degree in in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or even Physics
