    Position Overview

    Head of Process Engineering to lead our North America division's process engineering team. Responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of process engineering operations across multiple sites, driving efficiency, quality, and innovation.

    • Supervisory Responsibilities:
      • Lead and supervise a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and adherence to quality standards.
      • Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members, and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
      • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment where team members feel valued, empowered, and motivated to contribute their best.
      • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
      • Manage staffing levels, workload distribution, and resource allocation to optimize team productivity and efficiency.
      • Resolve conflicts and address disciplinary issues in a timely and professional manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
      Process Responsibilities:
      • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Process Engineering department within the North America division, aligning goals and objectives with overall company strategy.
      • Lead a team of managers responsible for process engineering activities at various sites, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.
      • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, quality assurance, and supply chain, to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
      • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the adoption of advanced technologies, automation, and best practices in process engineering.
      • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality management systems in all process engineering activities.
      • Establish and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to monitor process performance, track progress, and drive accountability.
      • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and staffing levels to meet business objectives and support growth initiatives.
      • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the Process Engineering team, promoting a positive work environment and employee engagement along teamworking with all operations across NA

    Who you are

    • Demonstrated experience managing teams and leading complex projects across multiple sites.
    • Expertise in process optimization, continuous improvement methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of process issues and implement effective solutions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple Plants/Staff in multiple locations
    • Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive change, and foster a culture of innovation including the talent development
    • Experience in the [industry/sector] is preferred but not required.
    • Strategic thinker able to develop the short, mid and long-term vision of the department including the development of the best practice in the industry
    • Strong leader for Planning and Execution driven by data
    • Experience in launching new products and the multiple phases of new programs
    • Travel +60%
