Biweekly Shift:

Today, through our state-of-the-art Level One Trauma Center, cutting-edge specialty care units, and dedicated caregivers, the system is working at the forefront of medicine to address the overall needs of our patients and eliminate healthcare disparities.
All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability.
Join our Acute Care Adult Trauma Step Down Unit, 5 East Primary Patient Population:- Trauma Primary skills utilized/learned:
- Vital Signs, cardiac monitoring, trauma care
- Complex wound care & psychosocial care
- Answering call lights and assisting patients as needed
- Time management, critical thinking Personnel RN will work with :
- LPNs, Registered Nurses, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, WOCN, Social Work Number of beds on unit: 34 beds (14 private rooms, 10 semi private rooms) Awards or Recognitions the unit has received:

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
- Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problemsolving skills.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (
NOTE:
Maintaining ODH Registry status as a STNA is optional after employment in this position). - 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
