With increasing volume, demand and industry shifts, UVA Community Health Medical Group is expanding our Gastroenterology Hospitalist program to partner in serving patients and physicians in the community.

UVA CHhas a highly engaged executive team invested in the community and providing high-quality care in a community based setting.

We arecommitted to partnering to establish the optimal patient-provider experience and ourgrowing medical group has strong backing from ouracademic medical center.

Opportunity is for full time, inpatient coverage only at this time. Schedule is 7on/7off with predictable call rotation.

Provider is responsible forconsultation topatients at our twocommunity hospitals - Prince William Medical Center (170 beds) and Haymarket Medical Center (70 beds) in addition to performing inpatient GI procedures.

Both hospitals have a robust Endoscopy Suite available andstrong support of Hospital Based Medicine Physicians, ICU, ED and administrative staff.

Successful candidate will have the chance to collaborate and be involved in grand rounds and other CME sponsored activities with the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology as well as the Department of Medicine at the University of Virginia Health System.
