    Description

    Position Overview

    The Donations Processor II plays a crucial role in the Processing Center, responsible for handling donated goods to ensure the success of the SVdP mission. Employees at this level perform a variety of standardized processes under general supervision with enhanced efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Softlines Puller:
      • Check, evaluate, and prepare clothing items for sale
      • Maintain production quotas in clothing workstations
      • Identify high-quality clothing items
      • Perform additional assigned duties
    • Hardlines Pricer and Packer:
      • Check household items for quality and salability
      • Identify specialty items for special handling
      • Maintain production quotas in hardlines workstations
      • Carefully pack items for shipment
      • Perform additional assigned duties

    Organization Mission and Policies

    The role involves providing excellent customer service per the SVdP Customer Service Motto, emphasizing serving both internal and external customers diligently.

    Requirements

    • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
    • Experience: 1 year in donations processing
    • Skills: Reading comprehension, process operations
    • Abilities: Problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, equipment operation
    • Physical: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, work in various environmental conditions
