    Insight Global is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to plan, design, implementation and manage networking solutions. This class works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.


    Network Design and Architecture:

    Design and plan the organization's network infrastructure as well as develop and implement network architecture, including hardware and software configurations.


    Network Implementation:
    Deploy and configure networking hardware and software components. Install and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.

    Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
    Diagnose and resolve complex network-related issues promptly. Perform root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement permanent solutions.

    Network Security:
    Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats. Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.

    Network Monitoring:
    Implement and use network monitoring tools to ensure the optimal performance and availability of the network. Monitor network traffic, bandwidth usage, and other key performance indicators.

    Capacity Planning:
    Assess network capacity and plan for future growth and expansion. Recommend upgrades or enhancements to meet the organization's evolving needs.

    Collaboration and Communication:
    Collaborate with other IT teams, such as systems administrators and application developers. Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to understand their requirements and explain technical concepts.

    Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures. Create network diagrams and documentation for troubleshooting and reference.

    Vendor Management:
    Work with vendors to evaluate, select, and implement network solutions. Manage relationships with network-related service providers.

    Policy and Compliance:
    Enforce network policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

    CCNA or CCNP
    Minimum 6 years if experience in Network and/or Security Architecture practices, design, implement and troubleshoot local and wide area networks
    Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
    Extensive Routers and Switch experience, specific to Cisco and Nexus hardware
    Ability to manage firewalls (Cisco or Palo Alto)
    Ability to serve as a team leader, providing coordination and leadership to other team members.
