- B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of post-college industry experience, working with hazardous (PSM) processes
- A candidate for this position should have previous experience building and running pilot-scale facilities, they need to have led and/or participated in HAZOPs and PHAs, and previous process control experience would be a huge plus (PLC systems)
- Should have previous experience with programs like Visio, SolidWorks (or other CAD tools)
- Previous start-up experience would be a big plus as well

Potential:
As with any start-up there is certainly risk involved, but the payoff potential is also significant.
With a product that has already been developed and is now being commercialized, there is significant momentum behind this company.
For this roledepending on the person, this could become a technical management position.
For the company, if they go public or are sold, the stock options that are part of the compensation package have the potential to be very lucrative.
The Role:
This person will be part of a team of 6 engineers and scientists who are continuing to develop this company's technology.
This person will be an integral part of that project and will doing P&ID development (detailed design work), sizing and specification of equipment, process safety work (HAZOPs and PHAs), as well as working closely with an electrical engineer on staff to determine process control schemes.
Travel for this role for the year will be minimal, and will increase after that, as the company has plans to build other pilot-scale facilities in the future.
The timetable for the completion of this project is December 2022. This is a direct-hire role.Minimum Requirements:
