- Be a thought leader for business growth and best practices for the world's largest carpet and upholstery cleaning franchise.
- Provide franchise owners with sound business coaching via telephone and conference calls, text messages and webinars. Delivered in both individual and group settings as relevant.
- Work closely with franchisees to increase their job count by publishing successful examples of franchisees implementing best practices. Publications should be on a weekly and monthly basis through various channels of communication.
- Maintain a schedule of routine contact with franchise owners across the network to foster engagement, grow market share, and increase job counts.
- Facilitate a strategic approach for franchise owners to understand consumers in their local area and work collaboratively with them to help create a diversified local marketing plan which includes proven best practices. Follow up with franchisees to ensure implementation of their local marketing efforts and advise toward necessary modifications to drive their local success.
- Work closely with corporate marketing team members to support brand-level marketing initiatives that help franchisees win more local jobs.
- Monitor the financial status, operations, staffing, marketing, and overall management of assigned Franchise locations.
- Run reports in various systems and review KPIs.
- Provide general business management coaching advice to franchise owners as relevant.
- Develop and maintain proficiency in the use of the Company's CRM
- Work closely with corporate support team members to continually improve programs and processes in place to help franchisees solve their own problems and seize upon their unique opportunities.
- Assist the Franchise Compliance Team to ensure that franchises are fulfilling their contractual requirements and to help facilitate franchise retention efforts.
- Work closely with the franchise accounting team to ensure that franchise owners are meeting financial obligations and work together to resolve deficiencies.
- Develop strong working relationships with franchise owners and their employees, when relevant. Identify ways to help motivate and change business behaviors in a positive way.
- Assist in the development and production of training materials for annual events and franchisee business support.
- Respond to incoming calls, emails and text messages from the Chem-Dry franchise network within one business day.
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
- Two to four years of experience in consultative position, preferably as a business coach
- Previous business ownership in the home services industry (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills – both written and verbal
- Knowledge of business and management principles

Job DescriptionThe primary purpose of this position is to work closely with Chem-Dry franchise owners to help increase both job counts and job averages through operational coaching. Additionally, the position will collect foundational best practices and drive implementation of these activities to increase market share for their local business. 80 percent of weekly hours will be spent on active coaching calls and coaching interactions, and 20 percent of weekly hours spent on other project activities like development of coaching materials. This position is in office and located in Logan, UT or Ann Arbor, MI.
