What You Will Do...
Prepare monthly accruals and other journals entries required for monthly financial reporting.
Prepare account reconciliations for Inventory, Tax, and Insurance.
Provide support for federal and franchise tax compliance to the regional Tax Department.
Review and issue an opinion on applying sales tax to purchases.
Determine the proper tax depreciation for capital additions.
Responsible for Property Tax, PILOT program, Superfund Tax, and Insurance reporting and compliance.
Maintain relationships with outside tax vendors.
Create monthly Inventory reports.
Review movement of inventory costs during the month and update standard costs monthly.
Maintain working relationship with insurance brokers.
Ensure insurance policies are put in place timely so there is no lapse in coverages.
Coordinate local tax audit activities and support MCA tax audit activities.
What You Will Have...
Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounting/Tax
S. degree in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SAP or comparable ERP system is required.
Ability to maintain concentration with frequent interruptions.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Strong initiative, problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
Manufacturing experience a plus

Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $116,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
