Maverick exists to simplify homebuilding, specializing in insurance and warranty solutions delivered through a modern MGU model.

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will support the Maverick team in a variety of tasks ranging from data analysis and reporting to supporting operational and strategic initiatives.
This role requires a blend of analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will collaborate with senior team members and cross-functional partners to drive efficiency, improve processes, and support data-driven decision-making.Primary Responsibilities
Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing business data to support operational and strategic decisions
Support the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics
Conduct research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies and identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document business requirements and translate them into actionable insights
Prepare presentations and summaries for leadership to aid in strategic decision-making
Assist in process mapping and identifying areas for operational improvement
Participate in special projects and perform ad-hoc analyses as required
Required Skills and Characteristics
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field, with an expected graduation date within one year of the internship
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of business concepts and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; experience with data visualization tools or SQL is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated interest in business operations and analytics with a keen willingness to learn and contribute to the team
