    Job Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • The intern would take a developmental role with MES and PLC communication in our systems to develop key equipment categories for production and equipment specific KPIs.
    • They would also be given other key initiatives for PLC standards for new equipment being installed. The position would be constructed to have key deliverables in the time allotted.
    • Equipment model standards for Manufacturing Execution System
    • Equipment tag standards for controller connections to Manufacturing Execution System.

    Education and Experience

    • Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a recent graduate of a similar program
    • Understanding of :
    • Basic industrial controls
    • Electrical circuit design fundamentals
    • Electrical and Control Systems Analysis
    • Data Acquisition and Systems Control
    • Embedded Digital Systems
    • Motor Control Fundamentals
    • Programming Skills/concepts - PLC experience preferred however Microcontroller (Arduino/Raspberry Pi) understanding and abilities are translatable.
    • CAD experience/exposure
    • Documentation
    • Communication both verbal and written
    • Industrial networking and Ethernet communications a plus
    • Able to read and analyze schematics for design and troubleshooting
    • Strong Project Management Skills
    • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Demonstrated clear communication skills
    • Ability to manage assigned tasks and small projects per scope and timeline
    • Organized with a task and deadline-oriented mindset
    • Excellent attention to detail
