    6 South Irving is a 40 bed Orthopedic/Medicine unit treating patients with orthopedic, and telemetry needs.#

    Common patient diagnosis are major joint and limb procedures of upper and lower extremity, spine disorders, spinal fusions, hip and knee procedures.

    # A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital.# This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.

    Required:
    ## Graduate of an accredited associate degree *A Graduate Nurse (GN) must complete NCLEX within 120 days of employment


    Preferred:
    ## Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree ########### *Bachelor#s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017. # Licensure/Certification Requirements

    Required:
    ## Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse Basic Life Support (BLS)


    Preferred:
    Certification in a specialty area. # # Hourly Rate Range $ $46.02 Based on verified education and experience
