About the College/Unit/Department
The Workforce Education (WE) Program is housed within the Mary Frances Early College of Education (MFECOE), which consists of nine departments and approximately 220 faculty members.
The WE Program consists of eight full-time faculty members with a variety of research interests. The WE program offers BSEd, MEd, MAT, EdS, EdD, and PhD degrees and attracts and supports national and international doctoral students. We have strong collaborative relationships with colleagues in STEM disciplines, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and state school districts. Specifically, our recently established BSEd in Workforce Education (Engineering and Technology) initial certification program offers rich coursework and rigorous field experiences that prepare students to teach in middle school and high school engineering and technology education
